Practical Training of Future Law Enforcement Officers: Optional Courses in Progress

Cadets of the Dnipropetrovsk State University of Internal Affairs are enhancing their practical skills to effectively perform their official duties.

Students from the Faculty of Criminal Police and the Educational and Scientific Institute of Law and Training of Specialists for Units of the National Police attended an optional course on the peculiarities of criminal law application. The cadets explored the concept of crime, pre-trial investigation procedures, as well as the basic rights and duties of parties in the criminal process. During the sessions, they familiarized themselves with the theories and concepts underlying criminal law.

Additionally, students from the Institute participated in an optional course on entering information by investigators into the Unified Register of Pre-trial Investigations. Under the supervision of the senior lecturer of the Department of Criminal Procedure and Strategic Investigations, Denis Yuriyev, they practiced filling out forms, writing narratives, and submitting information for registration.

The practical component remains a priority in the training process for cadets preparing to serve in the ranks of the National Police of Ukraine.
