Students of the Institute of Law and Training of Specialists for the Units of the National Police of DSUIA visited the Museum of the Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO), where they interacted with servicemen from the 128th Territorial Defense Brigade.
The military experience is a significant source of objective information about the war that began ten years ago and continues to this day. As part of the cultural program, cadets of the Dnipropetrovsk State University of Internal Affairs visited the ATO Museum, where they took part in a panel discussion titled “10 Years of War.”
The youth were interested in where the military find motivation and inspiration. Many questions revolved around how to build more productive communication between civilians and the military, and how to support the defenders. Servicemen emphasized the importance of mutual understanding as the basis for support and friendly communication. Officers also shared advice on maintaining proper psychological well-being, which is crucial for future employees of the National Police.
Cadets believe that such meetings with defenders help better understand their needs, especially those that cannot be met by volunteer assistance alone – the need for communication and relationships between civilians and the military.
