Military Component in the Educational Process: Experience of the National Guard

Cadets from the Educational and Scientific Institute of Law and Training of Specialists for Units of the National Police at DSUIA met with a representative of the Kyiv Institute of the National Guard of Ukraine, Oleksiy TITARENKO.

Officer works in the research laboratory for the training of troops at the Kyiv Institute of the National Guard of Ukraine. Given the realities of today, he believes that higher education students must have a military component in the educational process. This is especially relevant for institutions of higher education with specific learning conditions.

During the meeting with the cadets, the prospects of using the military component during training, as well as aspects of its implementation and improvement, were discussed. TITARENKO noted that practical disciplines are mandatory in the training of future law enforcement officers. In the officer’s opinion, there should be as many practical experiences in education as possible so that police officers are prepared for all the challenges they will face during their service.
