The championship in mini-football among cadets was held at the Dnipropetrovsk State University of Internal Affairs. The winners were congratulated by the rector, Alexander MORGUNOV.
The purpose of the competition is to prepare and select athletes to participate in the regional mini-football tournament “Dynamo – 2024.”
Teams from the cadet institute, faculties, as well as the Training Center for Training Police Personnel “Police Academy” (Zaporizhzhia) and the Ukrainian State University of Science and Technology, competed on the football field.
After the drawing procedure, the teams played in two subgroups: the duration of the games consisted of two halves of 10 minutes each (without breaks) with 3-minute intermissions. In the final match, the teams of the faculties of criminal police and preventive activities faced each other, with the team of the Faculty of Training Specialists for Units of the Criminal Police winning with a score of 6:3. The third place went to the Ukrainian State University of Science and Technology.
