DDUIS has launched the patriotic game “Sokil” (“Dzhura”) in the direction of “Dzhura-Police”

The training of the All-Ukrainian Children and Youth Military-Patriotic Game gathered over a hundred participants representing 50 educational institutions.

The game was organized with the support of the Department of Education and Science of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration and Dnipropetrovsk State University of Internal Affairs.

After the performance of the National Anthem of Ukraine, the attendees honored the memory of fallen law enforcement officers and soldiers with a minute of silence.

Rector of DDIUS, Oleksandr Morgunov, addressed the audience. He emphasized that the participants of the game are motivated and goal-oriented, highlighting that the All-Ukrainian Children and Youth Military-Patriotic Game “Sokil” (“Dzhura”) in the direction of “Dzhura-Police” is an important component of patriotic education.

The Chief of Staff of the regional management of the Troops of the Operational Command “East,” Yevheniy Shcherban, wished the youth success in passing the training and competitions and gaining strength and positive emotions.

Deputy Head of the Juvenile Prevention Department of the National Police Department in Dnipropetrovsk Region, Mykhailo Poshtaruk, thanked the organizers for arranging the game and the participants for their determination.

The participants of the game included students of vocational and pre-professional education institutions, as well as their mentors.

This year’s gathering focuses on the police direction and is conducted in three areas:

– Intellectual-Artistic Complex “Cossack Fun” (intellectual quiz “Vidun”);

– Military-Applied Complex “Cossack Victory” (competition in formation and marching song “Order,” obstacle course competition, handling automatic weapons, shooting competition);

– Police-Applied Complex: police quest “Law Enforcement Guards,” basic police training course “Use of UAVs.”

The training united theoretical and practical tasks. During the theoretical part of the training, the Head of the Department of Science, Higher and Vocational Education of the Regional State Administration, Liubov Kravchenko, talked about the course of the training.

The practical part included formation on the parade ground, training in shooting in an interactive firing range, overcoming obstacle courses, preparation for the intellectual quiz “Vidun,” and drill training.

During the introductory session with team representatives, participants practiced military exercises, learned to provide first aid, studied the algorithm of actions when detecting explosive devices, topography, and received basic training in shooting.



“Sokil” (“Dzhura”) in the direction of “Dzhura-Police” will consist of three stages: the level of territorial communities, regional stage, and all-Ukrainian level.
