DSUIA cadets are serving at the state border

Rector Oleksandr MORHUNOV conducted a briefing before the departure to the Zakarpattia region.

Cadets of the Faculty of Training for Specialists in Criminal Police, totaling 13 individuals, are being sent to the Zakarpattia region from April 25 to May 22, 2024, to ensure public safety and order during the state of emergency.

Rector Oleksandr Morgunov emphasized the importance of adhering to the principles of ethics and legal norms when working with citizens, as the cadets represent the Dnipropetrovsk State University. The Rector called for strict adherence to professional discipline, legality, conscientious and responsible performance of duties, and assistance to border guards in countering attempts of illegal border crossing. The head of the institution noted that due to the exemplary service of cadets at the border in previous periods, the university is highly valued by the border guards, so it is important to maintain the reputation of the higher education institution.

Cadets were also reminded of the inadmissibility of committing corrupt offenses. It was emphasized the unconditional adherence to the Law of Ukraine “On the National Police,” “On Prevention of Corruption,” compliance with personal safety measures, and so on.
