A psychologist from DSUIA participated in a training session on the topic of psychological support

Psychologist from the Psychological Support Department of DSUIA, Yevheniia HLAGOLEVA, participated in a training course on the topic of “Psychological support and psychological recovery of people affected by war,” which took place in Kamenets-Podilskyi.

The training was conducted as part of the project “Building peace and overcoming conflicts in Ukraine – A Step Forward,” with financial support from the Institut für Auslandsbeziehungen (IFA) using resources from the Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Germany. During the training, participants discussed the provision of initial psychological assistance, crisis interventions, and acquired skills for overcoming and restoring psychological well-being disrupted by military aggression.

In the future, there are plans to conduct training sessions with both permanent and rotating staff of DSUIA, aimed at providing knowledge in psychological support, restoring mental health, and preventing threatening consequences caused by war. This includes studying methods for managing stress reactions, adaptation, recovery, and integration of acquired skills. All participants received corresponding certificates upon completion of the training.
