The event was organized by the Department of Special Physical Training and the Department of Tactical and Special Training of DSUIA.
The conference was opened by the Vice-Rector of DSUIA, Doctor of Law, Professor, Honored Scientist and Technician of Ukraine, Police Colonel Oleksandr YUNIN, who welcomed the participants on behalf of the university leadership. He emphasized the relevance of the chosen topic for researchers from higher education institutions with specific training conditions and wished for interesting discussions.
The conference took place in a mixed format. The areas of the event’s work included:
• improving the level of service-applied martial arts of law enforcement structures;
• modern issues of physical training and physical education of cadets and students of higher education institutions with specific training conditions;
• problems and prospects for the development of the system of professional selection of future law enforcement officers, and more.
Participants discussed topics such as the role of physical training of cadets in the system of personal security measures; the importance of physical training for the effective actions of police officers in service-combat situations; training in providing first aid in the educational institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, and others.
Based on the results of the conference, recommendations will be developed, which will later be sent to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine for implementation in practical activities.
