II International Forum of Young Scientists “Modern Research in a Globalized World: Science for Peace and Security”

Announcements

The event will take place at Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs (DSUIA) on June 12, 2024, in a hybrid format.

The forum aims to create a platform for exchanging ideas and experiences among researchers, practitioners, government officials, local authorities, and civil society institutions from Ukraine and partner and allied states. The discussions will focus on pressing issues such as academic integrity in research and education amid rapid technological advancements, overcoming challenges facing Ukrainian science in the context of Russia’s full-scale military aggression, and exploring ways to strengthen national security and deepen international cooperation.

Participants will include representatives from international organizations, government bodies, judicial and law enforcement agencies, local authorities, civil society institutions, scientists, doctoral candidates, postgraduate students, and higher education students from Ukraine and abroad.

Topics for Discussion:

– Specific activities of higher education institutions with special training conditions under martial law.

– Combating corruption in government and local authorities under martial law.

– Issues of ensuring gender equality in wartime conditions, among others.
