NEWS

The sessions are organized by the instructors of the Department of Tactical-Special Training at the Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs (DSUIA) in collaboration with the instructors of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

For DSUIA cadets, another session of tactical firearms training was held at a military training ground. During this session, skills in operating heavy armored vehicles were practiced, including elements of boarding and disembarking from a combat vehicle.

The theoretical foundations of mortar fire and types of ammunition were also covered. Cadets practiced identifying training targets, calculating distances, and subsequently engaging targets (using pneumatic trainers for preparing mortar crews with calibers of 82 mm and 120 mm).

Additionally, attention was given to studying the material parts of the “Fagot” and “Korsar” anti-tank missile systems. A multimedia simulator for the “Javelin” anti-tank guided missile system operator was also used. During this part of the training, cadets performed interactive missile launches to engage training targets.

According to the instructors, such knowledge is crucial for future law enforcement officers, especially during martial law.
