NEWS

A tactical medicine training session was conducted for the attendees of the Department of Primary Professional Training, Specialization, and Advanced Training at Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs.

The training on the basics of pre-medical preparation was held by military medics from one of the territorial defense units at the “KoLeSo” Tactical Medicine Training Center: Vasyl SHCHEDRYI, Denys CHEREDNICHENKO, and Polina KHADZHIYSKA.

During the event, police officers, accompanied by instructors, examined methods and principles of providing ASM (All Service Members) assistance according to TCCC (Tactical Combat Casualty Care) recommendations.

The focus was on stopping critical bleeding from upper and lower extremities using tourniquets. The training also included practicing the algorithm for cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), ensuring airway patency, among other skills.

At the end of the training, all participants received appropriate certificates.
