The event took place at one of the training centers of the Ukrainian Ground Forces units and was dedicated to the memory of Hero of Ukraine Vitaliy BOKHONOK.
The total number of participants in the competition was 40, representing 8 teams of 5 members each. The DSUIA team was accompanied by Senior Lecturer of the Department of Fire Training Yevhen ZELENSKYI and Senior Lecturer of the Department and team coach, Maksym KALIMAN.
The Vice-Rector of DSUIA, Ihor KOVALIOV, also came to support the participant.
For the DSUIA team, this was their first off-site competition. Despite some nervousness and facing strong opponents, including professional military personnel, the DSUIA team demonstrated worthy results and strong motivation.
The team coach noted that at all four locations, the university participants performed confidently and achieved good results. Among the weapons used in the competition were pump-action shotguns, sniper rifles, pistols, and assault rifles.
Following the competition, representatives of the Department, Yevhen ZELENSKYI and Maksym KALIMAN, thoroughly analyzed all the stages and highlighted areas for further focus in future training.
