Students of the Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs (DSUIA) visited one of Dnipro’s medical facilities to play chess and support military personnel undergoing rehabilitation.
DSUIA representatives regularly organize friendly chess tournaments with soldiers. Once again, players engaged in an intellectual duel, with a friendly atmosphere and competitive spirit prevailing during the games.
The cadets believe that such meetings are beneficial for the veterans, as they provide positive emotions, valuable mental exercise, and help improve their moral and psychological well-being.
Sports rehabilitation for the defenders is one of the key areas of DSUIA’s social activities. Weekly training sessions are held here for table tennis, martial arts, chess, and shooting practice.
The event was held as part of the “Friendly Support” project, implemented by the Department of Education, Science, and Sports of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
