Vadym BOLHARENKO, a cadet from the Faculty of Pre-Trial Investigation at the National Police of Ukraine at Dnipropetrovsk State University of Internal Affairs (DSUIA), has become a finalist in the 2nd International Legal Article Competition for Higher Education Students.
The competition was organized by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs, and the Ukrainian-European Scientific Cooperation Center. A total of 41 students from 20 higher education institutions participated in the event.
After the jury evaluated the submissions, 17 scientific articles advanced to the final stage, including Vadym BOLHARENKO’s research on “Specifics of Conducting Searches in De-Occupied Territories During Martial Law.” Supervised by Professor Viktoriia ROGALSKA from the Department of Criminal Procedure, Vadym examined the procedural and organizational challenges of conducting searches in de-occupied areas under martial law. His work highlighted the difficulties faced by law enforcement agencies and proposed solutions. Notably, based on existing procedural action algorithms, he developed an improved method for conducting searches in these regions under martial law conditions.
As a result of the competition, Vadym BOLHARENKO received a certificate of achievement.
