The Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs, in collaboration with the Ukrainian Association of Women in Law Enforcement (UAWLE), organized a training workshop focused on stabilizing psycho-emotional states.
The event began with opening remarks from Larisa Nalyvaiko, Assistant to the Rector on Gender Issues, Doctor of Law, Professor, and Honored Lawyer of Ukraine, and from Serhii Vyshnevskyi, Head of DSUIA’s Psychological Support Department, member of the National Psychological Association of Ukraine, and the Association of Higher Education Psychologists of Ukraine. The workshop’s primary goal was to introduce participants to exercises for psycho-emotional stability, emphasizing the importance of mental health care. This initiative was aimed at improving general well-being, building resilience to stress, and lowering anxiety levels, particularly during the challenges of martial law.
The speaker, Yevheniia Hlaholieva, a leading specialist from DSUIA’s Psychological Support Department, National Psychological Association member, and regional trainer for the “Suicide Prevention in Communities” project, led the training.
Throughout the workshop, participants practiced stabilization exercises and received guidance on maintaining personal resources. An interactive Q&A session followed, where participants eagerly discussed pressing topics related to psychological support and resilience.
