Specialists from the Department of Psychological Support at Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs conducted a training session for cadets of the Faculty of Training Specialists for Pre-Trial Investigation Units of the National Police of Ukraine.
During the training, participants developed intergroup communication skills. Through specific tasks and tests, the level of intragroup cohesion and mutual support among students was assessed. An anonymous sociometric survey was also conducted.
The training covered topics such as leadership and unity around a common goal. Cadets noted that they learned many interesting and useful things about themselves.
«It’s important to recognize cadets who may feel excluded from microgroups and understand that inclusion can be challenging for them, so we work to engage them in group activities. Likewise, knowing the emotional leaders helps with organizing events—they are reliable and able to motivate others,» explained psychologist Alina HORODNYCHENKO.
