First-year cadets from the Faculty of Criminal Police Specialist Training at the National Police of Ukraine participated in a training session titled “Intra-Team Relations and Basic Rules for Supporting One Another.”
The event was led by Alina Horodnychenko, a specialist from the Psychological Support Department at DSUIA. The training aimed to strengthen the cadet group, fostering emotional resilience, self-confidence, and a supportive attitude towards colleagues. The session included therapeutic games, projective drawing, psychogymnastics, and other psychological exercises. The primary goals were to encourage cadets to pursue self-improvement and self-reflection and to enhance their communication skills. Special emphasis was placed on uniting participants for collaborative task-solving, as well as on developing skills to express support and respect for each other. Cadets gained practical knowledge on methods to improve interaction within a team.
Specialists highlight that such training sessions are vital for DSUIA teams, as the level of cohesion directly impacts task performance quality and the success of achieving shared objectives.
