Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs recently held a sambo wrestling training session for children among the internally displaced. This event was organized in collaboration with the Donetsk Regional Center for Physical Health “Sport for All.”
The sports meeting was led by DSUIA’s Department of Special Physical Training specialists and coach Artem Pantileyev from “Sport for All.” Young athletes were introduced to the key rules and principles of sambo, followed by a warm-up session and hands-on practice of various techniques.
Organizers highlighted the atmosphere of friendship and mutual support, essential for children facing the hardships of war. For these young participants, sports are not only a means of physical development but also a valuable outlet for stress relief and social adaptation.
Open training sessions at DSUIA will continue, supporting physical and emotional well-being for displaced youth.
