Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs hosted a Ukrainian scientific and practical conference dedicated to pressing issues in forensic economic examinations. Held in a hybrid format, the event gathered nearly 100 participants.
The conference was opened by Anastasiia KUPRIYANOVA, Ph.D. in Law and Director of the Dnipro Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Examinations of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine.
In his welcoming remarks, DSUIA First Vice-Rector Ihor MAHDALINA emphasized the significance of the topic under discussion and wished the participants productive work.
Participants included Deputy Minister of Justice of Ukraine Andrii HAICHENKO, Director of the Dnipro Research and Forensic Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Volodymyr KOROTAEV, Rector of the University of Customs and Finance Dmytro BOCHAROV, Chairman of the Dnipropetrovsk District Administrative Court Volodymyr HORBALINSKYI, as well as representatives of forensic research institutes, the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine, and the judiciary.


The conference facilitated discussions on a wide range of topics, including the appointment of forensic economic examinations in judicial and administrative proceedings, interaction between authorized officials and forensic experts, and the preparation of materials for conducting examinations.
Key topics presented included:
• “Relevance of Forensic Economic Examinations in Modern Conditions”;
• “Methodology for Determining the Cost of Expert Hours in Forensic Examinations”;
• “Forensic Economic Examinations as a Tool for Combating Crime Amid Contemporary Challenges”;
• “Admissibility of Expert Conclusions” and others.
