Twenty-nine officers from the Department of Professional Development and Specialization at the Institute of Postgraduate Education and Distance Learning successfully completed an extended training program and received their certificates.
The graduates, patrol police officers from Dnipro, Zaporizhzhia, Donetsk, and Poltava regions, met with DSUIA Vice-Rector, Police Lieutenant Colonel Ihor KOVALIOV. He emphasized that patrol officers are the face of law enforcement, as they are the ones citizens interact with most frequently. He stressed that every patrol officer must be a highly skilled professional, always ready to assist the public.
Over 12 days, the trainees studied patrolling techniques, checkpoint service protocols, explosive ordnance basics, and first aid. They also underwent firearms, tactical, and psychological training, with a special focus on public safety and order during martial law.
At the end of the course, officers took a comprehensive final exam, divided into theoretical and practical assessments.
Successful completion of the program not only marks their professional growth but also provides new opportunities for their continued service to society.
