A meeting took place between the cadets and Lieutenant Colonel Volodymyr Zakharchenko, a representative of the Central Territorial Administration of the National Guard of Ukraine (NGU).
During the session, cadets of the Dnipro Lyceum for Security-Oriented and National-Patriotic Education of the Ministry of Internal Affairs named after O. Hostishchev learned about the history, formation, and development of the National Guard of Ukraine, its functions, and its role in ensuring national security. They became familiar with the legal foundations of the NGU’s activities, its military reserve, service conditions, and its motto: “Loyalty, Honor, Patriotism.”
Particular attention was given to the NGU’s operations during Russia’s full-scale invasion and the participation of guardsmen in joint exercises with NATO countries. The cadets watched a video presentation on the evolution of the National Guard, listened to personal stories from the serviceman, and received answers to their questions.
Following the meeting, the cadets concluded that the guardsmen of the National Guard of Ukraine demonstrate courage, professionalism, and loyalty to their oath every day as they defend Ukraine.
