DSUIA Associate Professor Participates in Training on Combating International Crimes

A training session dedicated to combating international crimes was held at the National Academy of Internal Affairs. The event was organized in cooperation with the European Union Advisory Mission (EUAM).

Experts in criminal law, criminal procedure, and forensic science took part in the training. Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs was represented by Associate Professor of the Department of Criminal Procedure at the Faculty of Training Specialists for Pre-Trial Investigation of the National Police of Ukraine, PhD in Law, Associate Professor, and Police Major Alina Harkusha.

During the training, participants analyzed modern challenges in the fight against international crime, examined mechanisms for cooperation between national law enforcement agencies and international structures, and discussed the application of advanced forensic methods and the development of investigation strategies for such crimes.

Special attention was given to the methodology of investigating criminal offenses against peace, human security, and international legal order, particularly war crimes.

Additionally, participants worked through practical case studies, discussed the specifics of proving crimes in these categories, and explored the international legal aspects of their qualification.

At the conclusion of the training, all participants received official certificates.
