Camouflage Nets and Pillows for the Frontline: DSUIA Cadets Support Military Personnel

NEWS

Cadets of the Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs continue to support the front through volunteer initiatives.

They remain actively involved in the work of the local charitable organization “PavuChary from Dnipro”, where they take care of sewing pillows and mattresses. The future law enforcement officers focus on the quality, comfort, and functionality of each item, fully understanding how important it is to provide relief for defenders in exhausting field conditions.

In addition to sewing, cadets actively participated in packing humanitarian aid. Each box included not only essential items but also postcards with heartfelt wishes and words of support, handwritten by the cadets themselves.

“We are proud to be able to help. These are not just pillows or boxes – this is our care, our gratitude, our support for those who are protecting Ukraine today,” said the participants of the volunteer effort.

Among other initiatives supported by the cadets were paper recycling and weaving camouflage nets. The nets are actively used for military equipment and dugouts, helping to conceal positions and save the lives of our soldiers.

At the same time, paper recycling is not only a sign of environmental care but also a way to raise funds for frontline needs. Proceeds from selling recyclable materials are directed toward purchasing necessary equipment, medicine, or gear for the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

Such initiatives bring the cadet community together, fostering a sense of responsibility, unity, and civic duty among future law enforcement officers. The cadets will continue supporting volunteer actions, aiming to inspire local youth and conscious citizens by their example.
