DSUIA Cadets to Patrol Alongside Police to Ensure Public Order in Dnipro

NEWS

During the commemoration of Remembrance and Victory Day over Nazism in World War II (1939–1945) and Europe Day, cadets of Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs (DSUIA) joined efforts to maintain public order in Dnipro.

To ensure high-quality service, DSUIA conducted a briefing for the personnel, focusing on discipline, legality, and professional conduct. First Vice-Rector Ihor Mahdalina emphasized the need for vigilance, strict adherence to discipline, and attentive handling of citizens’ requests. He highlighted the importance of cadets’ involvement in ensuring safety on the city’s streets, especially under martial law conditions.

Such activities contribute to developing professional skills among future law enforcement officers and strengthening community trust in the police.

A total of 160 cadets and 40 university staff (police officers) are involved, with patrols covering six districts of the city.
