DSUIA Hosted a Seminar for Europe Day

Students, cadets of Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs (DSUIA), and students of the Dnipro Security-Oriented and National-Patriotic Education Lyceum named after O. Hostishchev participated in the online seminar “United by Values: A Conversation about Ukraine and the EU.”

The event, organized for Europe Day, was held with the participation of the National Agency for Civil Service, the Higher School of Public Administration, the DECIDE project, and other partners.

Participants were greeted by representatives of the Office of the President of Ukraine, the Secretariat of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, government bodies, the EU Delegation to Ukraine, the European Parliament, international organizations, higher education institutions, regional training centers, and Ukrainian and international experts.

The seminar focused on discussing the work of European institutions, the shared values of the EU and Ukraine, their significance and practical implementation, as well as Ukraine’s steps toward European integration and financial support for aligning Ukrainian legislation with EU standards.

The event explored the history of European values formation, discussed Ukraine’s institutional capacity on its path to the EU, and highlighted the role of modern educational institutions in the European integration process and in fostering national resilience through innovative educational approaches.

The seminar served as a platform for dialogue about Ukraine’s European future, emphasizing its place within the space of shared values.
