The session was conducted by Senior Inspector of the Analytical Work Department of the Criminal Analysis Unit of the Main Department of the National Police in Dnipropetrovsk Region, Senior Police Lieutenant Yana Lazareva.
Second-year cadets of the Faculty for Training Criminal Police Units of the National Police of Ukraine at Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs took part in the event.
During the session, participants discussed the specifics of visualizing analytical research, as well as the practical application of such research in law enforcement activities. Cadets were introduced to software tools used by analysts, including Power BI, i2 Analyst’s Notebook, PowerPoint, and SAS Planet.
These sessions contribute to the development of a practical understanding of criminal analysis among future law enforcement officers, preparing them for the effective use of modern digital tools in their professional duties and fostering analytical thinking.
