The event was organized by the Department of Operative and Investigative Activities for cadets of the Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs.
Participants of the class, titled “Features and Tactics of Using Unmanned Aerial Vehicles by Officers of the National Police of Ukraine During Operational and Combat Missions”, studied the basics of UAV control, software tools, and the processing of data obtained via drones.
Special attention was paid to the types and areas of UAV application within the Security and Defense Sector, as well as the potential for their use by National Police units in de-occupied territories and while performing operational and combat tasks.
The practical part of the session involved applying the acquired theoretical knowledge. Under the supervision of an instructor—Police Captain Vadym Kolomiiets, a lecturer at the Department of Operative and Investigative Activities—cadets practiced their theoretical skills through hands-on exercises.
