Community Police Officers Completed Specialization Training at DSUIA

Twenty-four trainees of the Qualification and Specialization Training Division at the Institute of Postgraduate Education and Distance Learning of the Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs (DSUIA) have successfully completed their training and received certificates.

The community police officers represent the Dnipropetrovsk, Ivano-Frankivsk, and Lviv regions.

Over the course of four weeks, the officers underwent specialization training, covering key topics such as constitutionalism, human rights, stress resilience, and effective communication. They also studied anti-corruption legislation and completed firearms and tactical training. Particular emphasis was placed on the specifics of a community police officer’s duties.

At the end of the course, the trainees passed a comprehensive final exam, which included both theoretical and practical components.

The graduation ceremony was attended by DSUIA Vice-Rector, Police Colonel Oleksandr Yunin, who highlighted the importance of continuous professional development and the enhancement of practical skills in today’s challenging environment. He also presented the graduates with their official certificates.
