Expansion of Cooperation Boundaries: DSUIA Presents Opportunities for Veterans

The material and technical base of DSUIA was presented to a representative of the Novooleksandrivska Territorial Community responsible for veterans’ policy.

Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs (DSUIA) was visited by Anatoliy Ivanushko, a specialist in supporting veterans and demobilized persons from the Municipal Institution “Center for Social Services Provision” of the Novooleksandrivska Village Council. The visit took place with the aim of familiarizing with the university’s opportunities for supporting veterans and developing cooperation with the community.

DSUIA Vice-Rector, Police Colonel Ihor Kovalov presented the guest with the institution’s material and technical base. In particular, Anatoliy Ivanushko familiarized himself with the DSUIA Barrier-Free Driving School, communicated with its head, military veteran Yevheniy Khokhlov, and visited modern sports halls, among other facilities.

During the visit, the guest also communicated with Oleksandr Movchan, a former serviceman of special forces, now an employee of the university.

Attention was focused on discussing prospects for cooperation between DSUIA and the Novooleksandrivska Territorial Community. Discussions covered the organization of joint events for veterans, opportunities for acquiring new skills, and obtaining higher education for defenders.

The visit emphasized the importance of uniting efforts between the higher education institution and territorial communities to support military veterans.
