Active cooperation continues between Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs and JustGroup within the framework of the Memorandum.

Last year, with the participation of Professor of the Department of Criminal Procedure, Major of Police Viktoriia Rogalska, an elective educational discipline “Procedural Interview” was developed and implemented at the Faculty of Legal Sciences of the National University “Kyiv-Mohyla Academy” and at the School of Law of the Ukrainian Catholic University. The continuation of this work was joint activity with 22 teachers of criminal procedure and criminology — graduates of the training for trainers, which took place at the base of DSUIA, on an adapted course on procedural interview for future law enforcement officers.

The testing of the course took place during a workshop for 26 cadets and students from eight leading educational institutions: National Academy of Internal Affairs, Dnipro, Lviv, Kharkiv, Odesa, and Donetsk Universities of Internal Affairs, National Academy of the SBU, and Yaroslav Mudryi National Law University.

From the beginning of the 2025/2026 academic year, the discipline “Procedural Interview” has already been implemented in the training programs for higher education students of the Yaroslav Mudryi National Law University as a separate course, as well as in the training programs for cadets of institutions of the MIA system — within the discipline “Tactics of Conducting Certain Investigative (Search) Actions.”

The next step in the joint work was the creation and implementation of the educational discipline “Pre-Trial Investigation Standards,” which started on October 1, 2025, for master’s students of NaUKMA. Viktoriia Rogalska, together with representatives of JustGroup, acted as one of the coordinators of the course.

Invited lecturers of the discipline were leading specialists of the criminal justice system of Ukraine, including: Head of the High Anti-Corruption Court of Ukraine Vira Mykhailenko; Commissioner for the Affairs of the European Court of Human Rights Margarita Sokorenko; First Deputy Director of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine Denys Gyulmagomedov; Director of the Bureau of Economic Security of Ukraine Oleksandr Tsivinskyi; Deputy Director of the Bureau of Economic Security of Ukraine Yurii Bielousov; Prosecutor of the Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine Iryna Samborska; Prosecutor of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office Ihor Polshchikov; Judge of the Korolivskyi District Court of Zhytomyr Kostiantyn Sholota; Prosecutor of the Sviatoshyn District Prosecutor’s Office of Kyiv Viktoriia Livochka.

DSUIA cadets can also join the educational process by taking the online course “Pre-Trial Investigation Standards” on the EdEra platform.

The partnership of DSUIA with leading educational and legal institutions of Ukraine contributes to the implementation of European standards in the training of future lawyers and law enforcement officers, as well as the formation in them of modern professional thinking.
