An off-site session for first- and third-year students of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Law and Innovative Education of DSUIA was organized by the Head of the Department of Theory of State and Law Olha Kulinich and the Head of the Department of Administrative Law Disciplines and Public Administration Iryna Dziuba.

During the event, students familiarized themselves with the structure and organization of the court’s activities, the procedure for administering justice, as well as the specifics of considering cases of different jurisdictions — administrative, civil, and criminal.
Judge of the Samarskyi District Court Viacheslav Harkusha provided a detailed overview of the practical aspects of judicial proceedings, the specifics of handling cases of various categories, the peculiarities of evidence, the stages of the court process, and the adoption of court decisions. Special attention was paid to the analysis of real court cases, which allowed students to better understand the mechanisms of applying legal norms in practice.

The judge also introduced students to the work of judges and court staff, explained the specifics of professional activity within the judicial system, and answered students’ questions.

As a result of the visit, students developed practical skills in analyzing court decisions, gained an understanding of the principles of openness, adversarial proceedings, and accessibility of justice, and realized the role of the judiciary in ensuring the rights and freedoms of individuals and citizens.
Such events contribute to improving the level of professional training of future law enforcement officers, developing legal culture, and forming practice-oriented competencies necessary for further professional activity.
