Veteran’s Experience for Police Officers: Educational Meeting for “Police Academy” Listeners

The participant of hostilities who was released from captivity met with the listeners of the Center for Primary Professional Training “Police Academy” of DSUIA.

Military veteran Vitalii Melnyk shared his own combat experience, spoke about his service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, emphasized the importance of teamwork and skills of quick decision-making in critical situations, as well as the trials he had to go through during his time in captivity. Vitalii Melnyk paid particular attention to the moral qualities of a law enforcement officer: humanity, sensitivity, adherence to professional ethics and readiness to come to the aid.

The veteran’s story became an important example of courage, resilience and loyalty to the military oath.

The meeting took place in an atmosphere of open dialogue. The listeners asked questions, discussed current aspects of military service and moral-psychological resilience in conditions of war.
