On the eve of the competition, the team met with the Acting Rector Ihor Magdaliyna and the Vice-Rector of DSUIA, Police Colonel Ihor Kovalov.
In May 2026, the hand-to-hand combat championship will be held among cadets of higher education institutions with specific conditions of study that belong to the sphere of management of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine and higher military educational institutions of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, the National Guard of Ukraine.
The team will represent the university under the guidance of the coach – senior lecturer of the Department of Special Physical Training Oleksandr Zhuravlev.
The leaders of the institution wished the athletes of DSUIA strength, inspiration and sports hardening, to demonstrate a high level of training, and to worthily represent the university.
