The lyceum students learned interesting historical facts and took part in thematic master classes.
On the eve of the Day of the Vyshyvanka in Dnipro, events took place in which the pupils of the Dnipro Lyceum of Security Orientation and National-Patriotic Education named after O. Hostishchev of the Ministry of Internal Affairs took part.
The event was opened by the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration — the head of the regional military administration Oleksandr HANZHA.
The lyceum students learned about the history of the Ukrainian vyshyvanka, the regional features of ornaments and the deep symbolic meaning of traditional patterns. In addition, the pupils of the lyceum joined a master class on Petrykivka painting.
Such events contribute to the formation of national consciousness, the education of love for Ukrainian culture and traditions, as well as the strengthening of a sense of unity and patriotism.
