DSUIA Joins Large-Scale Blood Donation Campaign Marking World Blood Donor Day

NEWS

On the eve of World Blood Donor Day, which is observed annually on June 14, cadets and officers of Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs took part in a large-scale blood donation campaign. More than 50 representatives of the university community joined the charitable initiative.

During the ongoing full-scale war, blood donation has taken on particular significance. Every blood donation is a tangible contribution to saving the lives of military personnel, civilians, wounded defenders, and patients requiring urgent medical care. Maintaining a stable blood supply remains one of the key factors supporting the healthcare system under martial law conditions.

Participation in blood donation campaigns is not only an expression of civic responsibility for DSUIA cadets and officers but also an important component of national-patriotic education. Such initiatives foster an awareness of personal involvement in supporting the state, encourage a willingness to help those in need, and strengthen the values of service to society.

At DSUIA, support for the blood donation movement has become a longstanding tradition. Representatives of the university regularly participate in charitable blood donation campaigns, demonstrating compassion, solidarity, and a commitment to helping save human lives.
