On the basis of the Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs, a fire training for military veterans was held. Defenders of Ukraine who are undergoing rehabilitation at the Superhumans Dnipro center joined the event.

The training was organized by the Department of Fire Training of DSUIA with the assistance of the university leadership. The practical lesson was conducted by the lecturer of the Department of Fire Training Olena Lopayeva. The participants had the opportunity to improve their skills in safe handling of weapons, practice the main elements of shooting training and renew the skills acquired during military service.
The Head of the Department of Fire Training of DSUIA, Police Colonel Andrii Zhbanchyk noted that such events are of great importance not only for maintaining the practical skills of veterans, but also for their social adaptation. According to him, joint trainings create additional opportunities for communication, exchange of experience, strengthening of team spirit and return to active social life. Fire training remains one of the areas of veteran support implemented at the university along with sports, educational and rehabilitation initiatives. Such classes contribute to the preservation of professional competencies, maintaining confidence in their own abilities and the formation of an environment of mutual support among veterans.

In DSUIA they systematically work on creating conditions for the physical, psychological and social recovery of the defenders of Ukraine, involving them in various events aimed at development, communication and self-realization.
