The university was represented by military veteran Yevhen Luchkov. Yevhen is also a member of the first veterans’ team of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine system, “Veterans Basket Dnipro”.
The competition, organized by the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, took place on 13 June 2026 in the Lviv region and brought together more than 400 participants from different parts of Ukraine.
Participants tested their abilities in an obstacle race and a trail run covering a distance of nearly 17 kilometers. The main goal of the event was to raise funds for the development and support of the veteran center “Kordon Race Academy”.
The participants overcame 38 different obstacles placed along a route that combined natural terrain with modern engineering structures. The most popular distance among athletes was the FUN category, which attracted a record number of participants.
The event was held to promote a healthy lifestyle, assess the physical and psychological capabilities of participants, support military personnel, veterans, and individuals with amputations, and to foster an atmosphere of mutual support and respect.
