The event was held for first- and second-year cadets of the Faculty for Training Specialists for Criminal Police Units of the National Police of Ukraine.
The cadets met with DDUVS Anti-Corruption Commissioner Ruslan Lupyr.
The main purpose of the briefing was to ensure transparency and objectivity throughout the examination period, maintain order, prevent abuses, and avoid actions that could be interpreted as a tendency toward unlawful conduct.
Ruslan Lupyr emphasized the mandatory compliance with the provisions of the Law of Ukraine “On Prevention of Corruption,” explaining the meaning of such concepts as “corruption,” “undue benefit,” and the “Unified State Register of Persons Who Have Committed Corruption or Corruption-Related Offenses.”
He also paid particular attention to Article 23 of the Law of Ukraine “On Prevention of Corruption,” which prohibits directly or indirectly, through other persons, demanding, requesting, or receiving gifts for oneself or close relatives from legal entities or individuals.
