An event on the topic “Interaction Between Social Work Entities in the Community” was held within the framework of the course “Algorithm of Actions of Patrol Police Officers in Various Service Situations (Scenarios).”
Patrol police officers undergoing specialization training at the Department for Advanced Training and Specialization of the Institute of Postgraduate Education and Distance Learning met with Oksana Kushchevska, Lead Psychologist of the Department for Enhancing Professional Competencies of Social Service Providers at the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Center of Social Services.

The meeting was organized by the Department of Administrative Law and Procedure and the Department of Tactical and Special Training, with the participation of the Department for Advanced Training and Specialization of the Institute of Postgraduate Education and Distance Learning of DSUIA.
Participants became familiar with the modern system of interagency cooperation within the community, the role of each social work entity, the referral algorithm for individuals facing difficult life circumstances, the specific features of multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary teams, as well as practical mechanisms for coordinating assistance delivery.
Particular attention was paid to the role of police officers in identifying cases requiring comprehensive support and to cooperation with social services, healthcare institutions, educational establishments, child welfare services, and other community entities.
The training had a practical focus and included the analysis of typical situations from police professional practice, contributing to the improvement of interagency cooperation skills and effective responses to citizens’ needs.
Such events are an important component of enhancing the professional competence of specialists and developing effective cooperation among all entities of the social support system. They also facilitate the exchange of experience and strengthen public trust in the police.
