In the Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs, a solemn event was held on the occasion of the Day of the National Police of Ukraine

In the assembly hall, officers, cadets, teachers and honored guests gathered to honor those who stand guard over law and order and security.

The event began with the solemn performance of the National Anthem of Ukraine and a minute of silence.

Those present were greeted by the Head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration – Head of the Regional Military Administration, Police General of the third rank Oleksandr Hanja, Deputy Mayor of Dnipro Yurii Yandulskyi, Head of the Main Police Department in Luhansk Region, Police Colonel Oleksandr Morhunov, Acting Head of the Main Police Department in Dnipropetrovsk Region, Police Colonel Oleksandr Myrhorodskyi, as well as the Acting Rector of DSUIA Ihor Magdaliina.

During the event, awards were presented to university employees for exemplary performance of official duties, personal initiative and dedication, high professionalism, as well as on the occasion of the celebration of the Day of the National Police of Ukraine.

Thanks were awarded from the Head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, the Mayor, the Main Departments of the National Police of Ukraine in Luhansk and Dnipropetrovsk regions.
