Psychologists of the department of psychological support of DSUIA continue systematic work with the listeners of the Center for Special Professional Training “Academy of Police”.
Within the framework of the project “Point of Psychological Practices” a training was conducted, aimed at the development of soft skills and strengthening of group cohesion.
The exercises used during the training were based on symbols and images, which required from the participants to interpret the actions of each other more precisely. Thanks to the methods of non-verbal and figurative communication, the listeners developed communication skills, flexibility of thinking and emotional intelligence. Joint performance of tasks created an atmosphere of openness, trust and cohesion in the group.
The moderator of the training Vladyslav Bidniak emphasized that the class helped the participants to overcome communicative and social barriers, relieve emotional tension and show active initiative. The listeners expressed satisfaction with the format and noted its practicality.
The head of the department Serhii Vyshnevskyi emphasized that the formation of communicative competences is an integral component of the psychological training of police officers. This not only facilitates the educational process and official activity, but also contributes to the prevention of conflicts, increases the effectiveness of team work and improves the moral-psychological climate in the collective.
The obtained skills of communication, emotional intelligence and team interaction will contribute to the increase of the effectiveness of service, the formation of a positive psychological climate and the strengthening of cohesion of collectives for the long-term perspective.
