The examinations were attended by applicants who already hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a non-law field. They will pursue part-time studies in the Law educational program on a tuition-fee basis, funded by individuals and/or legal entities.
A separate category of applicants consisted of serving mid-level police officers who already possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree. They are eligible for admission to the part-time Law program under the state-funded scheme, in accordance with the established admission requirements and the staffing needs of the National Police of Ukraine.
Among the applicants were also military veterans with the status of combat participants who had been discharged from military service for health reasons.
During the admission examinations, the University assessed the applicants’ academic preparedness, their ability to successfully complete the educational program and their professional motivation to pursue further legal education. The examinations were conducted by the DSUIA Admission Examination Board in compliance with established procedures and the principles of academic integrity.
Pursuing a second higher education degree enables applicants to expand their professional competencies, acquire a new qualification and deepen the knowledge required for careers in the legal and law enforcement sectors. For serving police officers, such education also supports professional development and enhances their ability to perform official duties effectively.
