The classes are aimed at the formation in cadets of skills necessary for the performance of official tasks in extreme conditions.

The training is conducted by specialists of the Departments of Tactical and Special Training and Fire Training of DSUIA jointly with servicemen of the National Guard of Ukraine.
First-year cadets mastered actions in the conditions of fire influence, practiced algorithms of response to threats, and also became acquainted with the actions of a police officer during the conduct of stabilization measures at checkpoints.


Also, cadets of the new intake studied the principles of military topography, navigation and orientation on the terrain. They practiced the order of movement by azimuth, methods of maintaining the set direction and overcoming obstacles. Separate attention was paid to the use of geoinformation systems and specialized applications.

In addition, within the framework of practicing skills in fire training, first-year cadets learned to eliminate delays that arise during the conduct of fire, change the magazine of an assault rifle and perform other practical exercises.


Similar measures contribute to the formation in cadets of practical skills, the development of readiness to act in conditions of increased risk and ensuring the proper level of professional preparedness of future police officers.
