The event is organized by the leadership of the Educational and Research Institute of Law and Innovative Education of Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs. More than 200 applicants of higher education took part in the meetings.
The meeting began with the performance of the state Anthem of Ukraine, after which all those present honored the memory of the fallen Defenders with a moment of silence.
With a welcoming speech to those present, the director of the institute Volodymyr Shablystyi addressed.
He familiarized the first-year students with the structure of Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs, presented the leadership of the Educational and Research Institute of Law and Innovative Education. Special attention was paid to issues of observance of academic discipline, as well as the implementation of safety requirements during the announcement of the air alarm signal.
The students were also addressed by the deputy directors of the Educational and Research Institute of Law and Innovative Education Maksym Pochtovyi and Iryna Dmytryshyn.
The event contributed to the formation in first-year applicants of a responsible attitude to studies, the assimilation of the culture of the university and the education of proper behavior under the conditions of martial law.
