The event was conducted in Lviv within the framework of the joint project of the OSCE Support Programme for Ukraine and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine and the National Police of Ukraine.
Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs was represented by cadets of the 3rd year of the faculty of training specialists for pre-trial investigation bodies of the National Police of Ukraine Sofiia Antonova and Alina Chubenko, as well as cadets of the 3rd year of the faculty of training specialists for units of criminal police of the National Police of Ukraine Valeriia Bunchuzhna and Nikita Dziuba.
During the work of the Autumn School, the participants discussed the situation in the sphere of human trafficking in Ukraine, considered the issues of identifying persons who suffered from human trafficking, as well as the responsibility and powers of the subjects who carry out measures in the sphere of counteraction to human trafficking.
In addition, the criminal-legal qualification and peculiarities of the investigation of crimes related to human trafficking were discussed, the use of IT technologies during the investigation of crimes related to human trafficking was considered, and the tactics of conducting the interrogation/interviewing of boys and girls who suffered from sexual and other types of violence were mastered.
Also, the participants joined the conduct of a simulation exercise, taking on different roles and using their skills and knowledge for the successful solution of the assigned tasks.
Applicants of higher education during their participation in the event deepened their practical knowledge and improved their professional skills under the supervision of professional trainers. Within the framework of the classes, the conduct of investigative (search) actions was practiced.
According to the results of the participation, they received certificates confirming the completion of the training.
