Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs continues to provide practical training for cadets specialising in Criminal Analysis. Particular attention is paid to applying analytical methods and tools to address current law enforcement challenges.

Representatives of the leadership of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Luhansk Region joined the latest training session. The delegation was led by Oleksandr Morhunov, Head of the Main Directorate and Police General of the Third Rank.

The practical session focused on using criminal analysis tools, approaches to organising and analysing information, identifying possible links between events and circumstances, and determining promising directions for search operations.

Particular attention was paid to the importance of comprehensively examining information from various sources, developing well-founded analytical conclusions, and applying them in practice during search operations.
Criminal analysis is an important tool in modern policing. It provides information and analytical support for management and procedural decision-making, helps establish the circumstances of criminal offences, and improves the effectiveness of search operations.
The session took place at a specially equipped criminal analysis training facility designed for practical information analysis, professional scenario simulations, and exercises in analytical procedures. This specialised learning environment helps bring the educational process as close as possible to the real working conditions of police analytical units.
