NEWS

The event was held on the basis of the psychological support department of Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs within the framework of the implementation of the project “Point of Psychological Practices”.

Psychologists of the psychological support department of DSUIA, the psychological support sector of the Main Directorate of the National Police of Ukraine in Luhansk region, as well as an officer of the psychological support department of the Central Territorial Directorate of the National Guard of Ukraine exchanged experience and considered current requests, in particular the support of families of combat participants with an undetermined loss.

The head of the psychological support department of DSUIA Serhii Vyshnevskyi familiarized those present with the veteran policy of the university and the possibilities of the psychological service that the university offers to combat participants.

Professionalism, experience and deep interest of psychologists in providing qualified assistance confirmed the high quality of the work of the entire support network both in the National Police and in the National Guard of Ukraine.

An important component of the meeting was cooperation with representatives of the social project “Vilna”, who proposed a special space for wives, mothers of police officers, National Guard members and female employees of the university – this testifies to an intersectoral approach and attention to the needs of every family and community.

A separate innovation was the proposal to introduce intervision meetings of psychologists for discussing complex cases and supporting each other.

This exchange of experience demonstrates the high level of professionalism and responsibility of psychologists of DSUIA, the National Police and the National Guard of Ukraine and contributes to the development of interdepartmental cooperation in the sphere of mental health, the introduction of modern approaches to psychological support of combat participants and members of their families, as well as the strengthening of psychological resilience and readiness of personnel to perform official tasks under conditions of increased load.
