Future law enforcement officers conducted a community cleanup on the basis of the Center for Social Support of Children and Families “Dovira” and supported the work of the volunteer center “Vuzlyk Dopomohy”.
In the sponsored Center “Dovira”, which operates under the Dnipro City Council, cadets of the faculty of training specialists for pre-trial investigation bodies of the National Police of Ukraine worked on the improvement of the utility territory. They collected, sorted and removed household waste, cleared utility zones and prepared the adjacent plot for the winter period. Such assistance contributes to the creation of proper and comfortable conditions for children and families who are under the care of the institution.
Together with the volunteers of the city center “Vuzlyk Dopomohy”, the cadets joined the sorting and preparation of secondary raw materials – plastic bottles and caps. The collected materials were arranged for further processing, and the funds received from the sale of recyclables will be directed to the needs of Ukrainian defenders.
Effective assistance and constant connection with social institutions of Dnipro have long become a good tradition for the applicants of the university. Involvement in socially useful activity gives the opportunity not only to help others, but also to develop the qualities necessary for cadets in their future profession: initiative, discipline, team interaction and responsibility.
