At Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs, a meeting took place between the leadership of the institution of higher education and representatives of the Student-Cadet Council after the recent elections to the advisory body.
The acting rector of DSUIA Ihor Mahdalina, vice-rector of DSUIA police colonel Ihor Kovalov, vice-rector of DSUIA Serhii Melnyk, assistant to the rector of DSUIA Volodymyr Kovbasa and deputy director of the Educational and Research Institute of Law and Innovative Education Iryna Dmytryshyn took part in the event.
The participants of the meeting discussed the main directions of activity of the council, the tasks of its departments and plans for the future.
During the meeting, Ihor Mahdalina emphasized that the Student-Cadet Council plays an important role in the life of the university. Applicants of higher education are full participants in the educational process and join the formation of the social and public environment of the institution.
Special attention was paid to issues of security, a responsible approach to the organization of events and compliance with established requirements. The importance of coordinated team work, initiative and effective communication between the departments of the council was also discussed.
The representatives of the Student-Cadet Council were wished success in the implementation of planned initiatives, constructive interaction and new achievements.
Such meetings contribute to the establishment of dialogue between the leadership of the university and the student-cadet community, support of youth initiatives and the development of active student self-government.
