Cadets of the Faculty for Training Specialists for Pre-Trial Investigation Bodies of the National Police of Ukraine continue to take part in social and volunteer initiatives across the city.

One of the key areas of their involvement is supporting the “Dovira” Centre for Social Support of Children and Families, which is under the University’s patronage. During their latest visit, the cadets helped maintain the Centre’s grounds: they cleared fallen leaves and dry branches, cleaned walkways and playgrounds, and prepared the outdoor area for the autumn-winter season.

Cooperation with the “Vuzlyk Dopomohy” volunteer centre also continues. This week, cadets took part in sorting plastic containers and bottle caps for recycling. The funds raised from the sale of recyclable materials are used by volunteers to purchase essential equipment for Ukrainian military personnel.
Another important area of support is the production of camouflage nets for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Third-year cadets, together with volunteers, helped weave fabric strips into the netting, which will subsequently be used by service members at their positions. Even power outages did not interrupt the work, as participants continued their efforts despite the challenging conditions.

Participation in such initiatives is an important part of educating and developing future law enforcement officers. Through practical action, cadets cultivate responsibility, patriotism and a genuine commitment to addressing community needs, demonstrating that serving society begins with personal involvement and a willingness to help.
